What means what????

Hash tags....              @ tags.........     Where and when??  On Twitter..sure.  But what about Facebook where I see #tags all the time.  Instagram is all about #tags......I think I know. But I am not sure...........What about in the body of a Blog.  It is very confusing sometimes....

My readers are the brilliant ones....perhaps you can enlighten this confused #herbalist.
